Clinical Coding Education
Resolutions’ Health Information Managers and Auditors offer clinical coding education and training to your staff, which can be customised to the particular needs of your organisation.
If you have new staff or are looking to update your current staff on new standards or coding changes, a short Resolutions course may be the perfect solution. Our short courses are used to improve your coders’ general knowledge and to help ensure that all the latest updates are interpreted and applied in the correct manner.
With continued strong demand for training and tuition, Resolutions has now extended its training services to encompass Day Surgery Coding Courses (DSCC). On-site tuition and training
Resolutions also offers in-house tuition and training to health care staff on site at your facility. If you have new staff or are looking to update your current staff on new standards or coding changes, a short tuition course is the perfect solution.
All tuition and training is carried out at your facility, which means less disruption to your normal operating conditions and, if an urgent matter comes to hand, your staff are available without interruption
We offer tuition and training in the following areas:
- Coder education
- ICD-10-AM updates
- Introduction to Casemix
- Coding interpretation
- Disease processes
- Common scenarios
These short courses are used to improve your coders’ general knowledge and to help ensure that all the latest updates are not only passed on to your staff, but also interpreted and applied in their correct manner. Should your facility want to target a specific area for your in-house coders, we can tailor-make and deliver a special course to help in this area.
Ask us about our testing protocols and KPI settings. We have frequently found facilities have not tested the right attributes for their coders prior to new coders commencing their training. This can be tested, and Resolutions can provide this testing and assist you with educating and testing your coders.
As part of Resolutions’ ongoing commitment to the health care industry we can also assist with EQUIP preparation and ongoing maintenance.
Casemix / Activity Based Funding
Our experience shows that basic training in general casemix and health fund contract principles ensures more accurate coding.
